We Love Dogs – Let Us Show You How to Build Your Bond Stronger

Marc began as a dog trainer specifically because of his passion for dogs. That passion has led to what is now a type of behavioral training that is in use throughout the United States, taught right here by Marc Goldberg himself.

Marc is able to offer several services depending on what you feel is right for you, your pet, and your budget. These include our one time consultations, such as:

  • Pack Leader Program - None of our dog training in Hinsdale is "traditional." You'll find that it is often more involved, more intuitive, and more effective in the long term than other dog training methods. But our Pack Leader Program is what most people imagine when they think of dog training. We work with your dog AND you, going over different techniques and working to show you how to take the training at home with you. It's best for most common dog behaviors, and a great choice no matter how long you've owned your pet.
  • Puppy Pack Leader Program - Much like our Pack Leader program, the Puppy Pack Leader dog training program is focused on the behaviors of puppies. We address issues like nipping, crate training, and other issues that tend to affect puppies most. The hope is that you can both integrate the puppy into your house, and also know how to continue to train it for years to come.

These programs are each designed to show you the techniques that have made Marc’s approach so popular, as well as begin the training exercises that are needed to get your dog ready for the home. They're great choices for dog owners that want to be involved with their pet's growth, and also address specific, common behavioral challenges.

We also offer boarding school programs

We also know that not everyone has the time, knowledge, or training necessary to address pet behaviors. That's why we're also happy to offer our boarding school programs for dogs. These are similar to dog bootcamps, where you leave your dog with us, and we teach your dog proper behaviors ourselves, and then on the last day we teach you how to continue those improvements at home. There are programs at different lengths both for your training needs and for your boarding needs (since many dog parents take advantage of their time without their pet to go on vacation). By the time you're ready to pick your dog up, you can expect the following depending on the type of program:

  • Amazing Dog 7 Day Boarding School - Our 7 day boarding school provides improvements for most common behaviors. Examples may include chewing, jumping, stealing food, getting into the garbage, walking on a leash, and more.
  • Dream Dog 14 Day Boarding School - Our "Dream Dog" 14 day boarding school takes it a step further. Your dog will receive even more attention and training so that when you pick them up they are perfect on leashes, outstanding at home, and great with guests and kids. It is also useful for those whose dogs have mild anxiety or other more distracting behavioral issues that make them a bit more challenging to train.
  • Celebrity Rehab 21 Day Boarding School - Our longest and most in-depth bootcamp program, the Celebrity Rehab 21 day dog boarding program is for dogs with serious or significant behavioral issues, such as extreme anxiety or aggression around people or pets. The extra time allows us to make sure that those issues are addressed before training on household issues as well. It's also a great choice for shelter dogs that may have been mistreated.

Each option is chosen based on the behaviors, habits, and options that you’d like to include in this unique type of training style. We are always happy to talk to you more about what is available and how it will best serve your pets.

Our Philosophy & Goals

Our philosophy is simple. Improve the life of both dog and family. All too often, unruly dogs do not fully enjoy life because their families constantly become upset and frustrated with them. This is difficult for both family and dog.

Our mission is simple. Make both dog and family happy.

What does is take to make your dog happy? He will thrive when you give him leadership and attention.

Making the family happy is a bit more complex.

Families typically want their dog to:

  • Come when called, every time, on or off leash
  • Walk nicely on a loose leash without pulling
  • Sit until released
  • Down until released

Families also want their dogs:

  • Not to jump on people
  • Not to charge through doors
  • Not to dig in the garden
  • Not to bark and chew  inappropriately
  • Not to climb on furniture you prefer they avoid
  • Not to sniff and eat off the table and counters.
  • Not to be wild and uncontrollable
  • Not to ignore you when you want their attention
