Throughout Hoffman Estates, IL, dog owners find that no matter how much they love their dog, there are often some behaviors that they wish they could better control. Dogs are extremely loving and affectionate, but they also are animals that are learning how to become members of the household. There are often issues that come up that need to be addressed for the dog to integrate with the family correctly. The best way to do that is with dog training.

As a popular dog trainer in Hoffman Estates, Marc Goldberg frequently works with families that are interested in training their dog on the behaviors and actions they hope to see from their beloved pet. Our training programs are completely force free, require no clickers, and are easy for your pet to learn. We have several dog training programs, including:

  • Pack Leader Program
  • Puppy Pack Leader Program
  • Travel’N Train Program
  • Boarding School Programs

We have different programs depending on your dog's needs, and several that fit your lifestyle and your budget. For those ready to transform their dogs, call our Hoffman Estates dog trainers today at 1-224-407-2131 or fill out our form to get started.

Is Your Dog a Pack Leader Program Candidate?

The Pack Leader Programs, which include the puppy pack leader and the travel ‘n train program, are designed to teach you and your dog together in the methods that will create long lasting behavioral change. We’ll start training your pet with you, show you how to take what you’ve learned, and then you can continue the training at home.

This program works for most common wanted behaviors, as the most common calls we receive are from dog owners that say:

  • “I want my dog to stop pulling on the leash.”
  • “I want my dog to stop chewing on my furniture and shoes.”
  • “I want my dog to come when called and wait when I need them to.”
  • “I want my dog to stop jumping on my guests.”
  • “I want my dog to stop stealing foods and trash.”

Our pack leader program is similar to traditional dog training, but with our special techniques that are more effective and longer lasting for your dog. We use the "ForceFree Method," which was crafted and popularized by Marc of Chicago Dog Trainer, and is now used across the United States by other dog training teams. This strategy works for many simple commands, and can all be completed gently and comfortably. Our Pack Leader programs involve training your dog with you present, and then teaching you techniques to continue to use at home.

Is Your Dog a Boarding School Candidate?

When you need extra help, or you want assistance training your dog out of aggressive or severe behaviors, our boarding school is a great choice. Similar to a dog bootcamp, you drop your dog off with us for a predetermined period of time and we start the training process. From there, you come on the last day and we teach you how to continue the improvements at home.

Our options let you eave your dog with us for one, two, or three weeks. Our one week boarding school is best for basic household behaviors, and laying the groundwork for your own training. Our two week boarding school is for essentially preparing your dog to be the perfect household pet, or helping train your dog when it has more severe behavioral issues. Our 3 week boarding school is for dogs suffering from severe anxiety or aggression that need extensive training. With all of our programs, on the last day, we’ll show you how to take the techniques with you and carry on the success.

Our Philosophy & Goals

Our philosophy is simple. Improve the life of both dog and family. All too often, unruly dogs do not fully enjoy life because their families constantly become upset and frustrated with them. This is difficult for both family and dog.

Our mission is simple. Make both dog and family happy.

What does is take to make your dog happy? He will thrive when you give him leadership and attention.

Making the family happy is a bit more complex.

Families typically want their dog to:

  • Come when called, every time, on or off leash
  • Walk nicely on a loose leash without pulling
  • Sit until released
  • Down until released

Families also want their dogs:

  • Not to jump on people
  • Not to charge through doors
  • Not to dig in the garden
  • Not to bark and chew  inappropriately
  • Not to climb on furniture you prefer they avoid
  • Not to sniff and eat off the table and counters.
  • Not to be wild and uncontrollable
  • Not to ignore you when you want their attention
