Our Location

Marc Goldberg of Chicago Dog Trainer works out of the Little Dog Farm, a residential training facility located in the suburbs just outside Chicago, right off I-90. It’s a short drive from the city — close enough to be genuinely accessible for Chicago dog owners, far enough outside the urban core to provide the kind of space that dogs in a training environment need.

The facility is completely fenced and if you’re part of our Boarding and Training programs your dog will not be living in a kennel while training with us. We don’t train in a kennel, we train at home – just like the environment your dog lives in; in the home, in the yard, and in the neighborhood.

We don’t just train, we play with him too all the while exposing him to every situation he would encounter at home with you. Your dog learns what he’s supposed to do, gently and quickly – all with no force.

Our results last a lifetime – we guarantee it.

We love your dog – and he’ll love us too!

The facility is where Marc Goldberg and his team run all in-person training programs, including the boarding school programs that bring dogs to stay and train for 7, 14, or 21 days. Marc can provide remote dog training services for anyone in the United States and abroad, but many of those locally in the Illinois area come to the Chicago suburb to get the dog training they need.

About the Little Dog Farm

The Little Dog Farm is Chicago Dog Trainer’s home base — a suburban property designed around the needs of dogs in training. It’s where boarding school dogs spend their days learning, working, and being dogs in a structured, activity-filled environment under Marc’s direct supervision. It’s where private lessons take place for owners who come out to work with Marc in person. It’s where the ForceFree Method gets applied in the controlled setting that produces the kind of reliable results Marc’s clients have come to expect.

The facility reflects a core part of Marc’s philosophy: that dogs train better in an environment where they can actually be dogs. The Little Dog Farm provides that environment — room to move, a consistent routine, and constant engagement from trainers who understand canine behavior at a level that comes from decades of hands-on work and the kind of academic foundation that co-authoring books with the Monks of New Skete produces.

Dogs attending the boarding school program live at the Little Dog Farm for the duration of their stay. They’re worked with multiple times daily, walked regularly, and kept on the structured schedule that produces lasting behavioral change rather than temporary compliance. The final day of every boarding school program includes a handoff session where Marc teaches the owner what the dog has learned — because training that doesn’t transfer to the family isn’t complete.
